System Components

To build a fully functional RM10 EVO system, the following components are required:

bAYS
Ballast Field Bay & North Bay

Crafted from durable mill finish aluminum, the Ballast Bay features a modular design that adapts easily to roof obstructions and surface variations. Its nesting design maximizes shipping efficiency, reducing freight volume, and costs. The North Row Bay is used exclusively on the system’s north edge to complete the array layout.

CLAMPS
Clamp & Hardware

Made from mill finish aluminum; the Module Clamp securely engages the return flange beneath the module. Each clamp comes pre-assembled with a stainless-steel bolt, external tooth washer, and nut—ensuring fast installation and reliable electrical bonding. The side bolt connects the clamp assembly directly to the Ballast Bay for a secure, integrated fit.

MID SUPPORTS
MID SUPPORT

Constructed from mill finish aluminum, Mid Supports provide added structural reinforcement for larger modules and projects subject to high wind or snow loads. They deliver extra downforce support to maintain system stability and performance in demanding conditions.

ACCESSORIES
RM10 EVO Attachment Kit

The Ballast Bay frame runners are designed to support standard strut-strap wire management solutions and are compatible with off-the-shelf strut nuts. These components can be sourced through your local electrical supply distributor, allowing for flexible, installer-friendly cable routing options.

ACCESSORIES
ROOF PAD

The Roof Pad creates a protective barrier between the Ballast Bay and the roofing surface, helping to preserve roof integrity. It snaps securely into pre-formed holes on the underside of the Ballast Bay for quick installation. Roof Pads may be required in specific seismic zones or based on roofing manufacturer guidelines. Always consult with the roofing manufacturer for compatibility and refer to Appendix A for regional usage requirements.
