Welcome to the NABCEP Conference edition of Unirac’s newsletter! Last month, we talked about our investments in innovative products as part of our Better Solar Starts Here program which is our commitment to help you grow your business. This month we want to talk about supply chain and our efforts to provide you with the best lead times in our industry. With that, Unirac’s Chief Operating Officer Sean Linn contributed a video and article to this month’s newsletter; please be sure to check them out for more details on how Unirac has structured its supply chain to benefit you.

Stability and reliability of materials supply has been on everybody’s mind, A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend Intersolar North America in San Diego. It was great to connect with many of you and hear from you how excited you are about 2020. We at Unirac share your excitement!

One topic that came up frequently at Intersolar was the Corona Virus and how the virus is going to affect our industry. I would like to share my thoughts with you:

  • Reports how the virus is affecting supply chains and disrupting manufacturing operations around the world are increasing daily.
  • The most vulnerable companies are those that rely heavily on factories in China since the activities of Chinese manufacturing plants has fallen in the past month.
  • The situation is still very dynamic, and one cannot predict the peak of its impact.

We want you to know that Unirac has you covered as a trusted partner: We have the financial resources to invest in our global supply chain; we have also worked hard the last two years to diversify our global footprint; and we have the right team in place to plan for significant demand spikes as well as disruptions to manufacturing facilities.

Our investments in our supply chain allow us to provide you with the best lead times in our industry but also the stability and reliability so that you can focus on growing your business. Even during challenging times! It’s part of Better Solar Starts Here, our commitment to help you grow your business.

I know you’ll be interested in Sean’s supply chain article and in the rest of the content in this month’s newsletter. I look forward to hearing your thoughts about supply chain and about any other topics that are important to you. Please share your feedback with me at

Thank you for helping make solar happen every day!
